Firecracker
Independence Day without watermelon is like Thanksgiving without turkey. In July, watermelon is at the height of its season, making it the ideal fruit to feature in a cocktail. Its refreshing sweetness is perfect for those 4th of July celebrations.

1-½ ounces aged rum
½ ounce triple sec
½ ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
½ ounce simple syrup
⅙ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Garnish: lime wedge
Directions
In a mixing glass, muddle the watermelon.
Add remaining ingredients and ice; shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.

Red, White & Night
Looking for a patriotic sipper that's easy to make and even easier to drink? This ruby-red punch is perfect for larger gatherings. The simple ingredients come together to form complex flavors, complemented by a garnish of blueberry or black raspberry coated in powdered sugar.

2 ounces cabernet sauvignon
1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 ounce simple syrup
Garnish: 3 blueberries or black raspberries, coated in powdered sugar

Add the vodka, cabernet sauvignon, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a shaker with ice; shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with 3 blueberries or black raspberries coated in powdered sugar.
Boozy Cherry Bombs
A booze-inspired sweet treat, these patriotic cherries are full of Fireball whiskey and whipped-cream flavored vodka and provide an extra spark to your 4th of July celebrations! For a kid-friendly version, skip the alcohol.
Ingredients
1 (10 ounces) jar of maraschino cherries with stems, drained
⅓ cup Fireball whisky
⅓ cup whipped cream-flavored vodka
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 (3.5 ounces) jar of blue sanding sugar sprinkles
Directions
Put cherries in a medium bowl; pour Fireball and vodka over them. Soak for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Drain cherries and pat dry with a paper towel. Reserve alcohol for another use.
Put chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into melted chocolate, twisting slightly so the chocolate sticks—dip cherry in blue sanding sugar, coating halfway up the white chocolate coating.
Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
